Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' starring Ranveer Singh,
Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra has had a great run at the
box-office.
Released on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dilwale,' the film had started slow at the box-office and struggled through its first weekend. However, as soon as the first Monday arrived, the film picked up well and has performed well since then. If trade analysts are to be believed, it is the strong word of mouth which has immensely helped the period drama's business.
The film had collected Rs 84 crore in its first week, Rs 55.19 crore in its second week and Rs 27 crore in its third week which takes the total to Rs 166.65 crore in 3 weeks at the domestic box office.
After eighteen days of their clash at the box office, 'Bajirao Mastani' is ahead of 'Dilwale' by Rs 29. 32 crore in domestic collections.
