Security Guard (NSG) cops who are pitted against each other. It deals

fun shooting with Naseer in a "performance-oriented role". He adds that

Sameer Anjaan, who is also presenting the Falguni Patel and Prince
Soni-produced film, has been instrumental in getting the two actors for

a friend to him, citing an incident from a few years ago. "I had once
said in an interview that I couldn't call Naseer my friend as he is a
much senior actor. He called me the next day and asked why he couldn't

will have to stay back. "He has a lot more screen time so he will be

लगता है कि आलोचकों की तरफ से फिल्म को मिले नेगेटिव रिव्यू का असर कमाई पर पड़ रहा है। लेकिन इस

flaws, this is Imtiaz Ali’s most complex story, teeming with ideas, and
gives us Ranbir Kapoor back again, along with the lovely Deepika
Padukone.
Just short of an hour into the film, I was up to there with
‘Tamasha’. All we’d got till then was scene after pretty scene in
Corsica – picturesque bistros, colourful locals in fancy dress, leafy
green countryside, sparkling blue waters, and two of the most
interesting actors in Bollywood desperately acting out their parts :
over-emphasising their meet-cute, making eyes and coming hither. To
absolutely no effect. No impact. Zero. Nada.
Can you imagine getting Ranbir and Deepika and not letting them fall
into a real, true, passionate twosome, because the writing in this
initial part of the film forces them into an annoyingly artificial
construct : we know we are combustible, but we won’t, because you know,
we are in this make-believe la-la land where we won’t reveal our real
selves?
Got it? No? Good, because I didn’t either.
Ved ( Ranbir) and Tara ( Deepika) swan around cluelessly and
uselessly in the first hour of the film, and you wonder just how much
more of waste it can get . And then, surprise, it gets better, and so do
they. And ‘Tamasha’ becomes, somewhat, the film you presume Ali and his
actors had set out to make.
Turns out that the obedient, well-behaved boy that Ved used to be has
grown into the obedient, well-behaved young adult, but not in any way
that does him any good. A demanding father sets Ved upon a path not of
his own choosing, and the break-through comes when he meets the girl :
the cocoon shatters, and the real Ved emerges, putting his yes-sir,
no-sir, three-bags-full-sir robotic existence behind him, coming out
into a world of light and imagination and magic.
Ved loves being told stories. He discovers he loves telling stories
as much. When the director delves deep into this groove, he mines
something solid and yes, I will use that word again, real. Those are the
moments that make this film shine, and leave you smiling. It’s
interesting how accepting that make-believe can set you free sets both
the director and the actor free : there are flashes here of the terrific
actor that Ranbir can be, and that’s a relief both for the performer as
well as the audience.
Deepika is luminous, and she is much more sure-footed in her part.
Even though Ranbir gets more space, Tara is drawn with welcome depth :
it is usually a leading man’s prerogative to sulk and stomp. Did she
fall in love with her idea of love, and can she sustain it with the
passage of time? Ali puts forth a fairly radical idea as well : can the
love that you feel when you are out of time, in exotic locales, survive a
storm of ordinariness? Of ‘aam-aadminess’?
We do get the answers, and they do leave us feeling warm and fuzzy,
but it’s not enough. That wasted, stretched introduction is a problem.
So is the director’s penchant of using music to underline the sentiments
: why not more confidence in just letting the moment, and the actor,
speak for itself? Why the clunkiness?
I really liked a lot of the second half. There’s so much good stuff
going on, including the pair which strays, and then journeys towards
each other. Despite its flaws, this is Ali’s most complex story, teeming
with ideas, and gives us Ranbir back again, along with the lovely
Deepika, even if the plot keeps losing sight of her : there are tracts
when she goes missing.
Pity it peters out.
The 'Shehenshah of Bollywood' further added that he is surviving on
only 25% of his liver today, reports Indianexpress.com. Talking about
how he contracted the disease, the 'Paa' star revealed that he had been
injected with almost 60 bottles of blood from close to 200 donors post
the 'Coolie' accident and one of them was carrying Hepatitis B virus.
However, he also added that he continued working perfectly fine until
2000. It was during a normal routine check-up that he got to know that
he was surviving on only 25% of his liver. In the same report, Big B
also added that one can survive with even 12% of liver but no one would
want to get to that stage.

'I did not face the camera for two-three years. I was busy and happy even when I was not acting.' Gracy Singh tells us what she's been doing. Gracy Singh, who has been a part of some of Bollywood's most loved movies like Lagaan and Munnabhai MBBS, gave up her movie career to pursue her dancing dream.
The actress made a comeback with Kamal R Khan's 2008 film Deshdrohi but it tanked and Gracy disappeared again.
Now, the 35-year-old actress, who shot to fame with the 1997 television serial Amanat, returns to TV with the upcoming mythological show, Santoshi Maa. Gracy will play the title role. The show will air from November 30, Monday to Friday, at 9 pm on &TV.
Gracy talks to Rediff.com contributor Rajul Hegde about her new show and what she's been doing all this time. What brings you back to television?
I think it’s everyone’s love that I am back on television (smiles). I always wanted to do a show which has a message or makes a difference to the society.
When this offer came to me, I instantly agreed because I was looking to return to TV with a show like this.
What connected you to this show?
I have been performing classical dance dramas of devis in my dance troupe, which I started six-seven years back. I have enacted nine devis on stage, including Santoshi Maa. So there was an instant connect.
I felt this part of Santoshi has not been explored on television.
The makers might even incorporate my dance in the show; we've had
discussions about that. Portraying a goddess on the small screen is
extremely challenging but also satisfying.
I am a believer myself and given the competitive environment we are
in, I don't let negativity affect me. I take time off to relax and enjoy
and be content with what I have achieved. That's what the show is also
about.
What have you been doing all this time?
I was making and directing dance ballets and classical shows. I did
not face the camera for two-three years. I was busy and happy even when I

centre on Hill Road. Needless to say that obviously it became a big
tamasha there, with all their fans shouting and screaming for attention
from their favourite stars grabbing Mumbai's favourite street food in
front of them. While Ranbir is a Bandra boy who often orders his pani

कहानी जेम्स बॉन्ड (डेनियल क्रेग) एक खास मैसेज
मिलने के बाद मैक्सिको और रोम में अपने एक सीक्रिट मिशन पर निकल पड़ता है।
यहां उसकी मुलाकात होती है लूसिया (मोनिका बलुची) से होती है जो एक
क्रिमिनल की विधवा है। लूसिया बॉन्ड को एक संस्था 'स्पेक्टर' के बारे में
बताती है, जिसमें उसका पति भी काम करता था। इस आतंकी संस्था का मकसद
दुनियाभर में आतंकवादी घटनाओं को बढ़ाना है। बॉन्ड किसी तरह इस संस्था की एक
मीटिंग में पहुंचने में कामयाब होता है लेकिन इस मीटिंग स्पेक्टर का लीडर
फ्रांज ओबेरहोजर बॉन्ड को पहचान लेता है।
दूसरी ओर, लंदन में
नैशनल सिक्युरिटी सेंटर के नए हेड मैक्स डेनबिंग (एंड्रू स्कॉप) बॉन्ड के
मिशन पर कई सवाल खड़े कर देता है। मैक्स डेनबिग को बॉन्ड के मिशन और उसके
काम करने के तरीकों पर जबर्दस्त ऐतराज है। ऐसे में बॉन्ड को मैक्स की और
अपने कुछ पुराने साथियों के ऐतराज करने और सहयेाग ना करने के बावजूद अपने
आतंक के खिलाफ मिशन को कामयाब करना है। अब बॉन्ड अपने इसी मकसद को पूरा
करने में लग जाता है। इस बार बेशक डायरेक्टर ने बॉन्ड के मिशन को तो
कंप्लीट कर दिखाया लेकिन फिल्म को ऐसी जगह पर खत्म किया है जहां से अगली
फिल्म की शुरूआत का रास्ता साफ नजर आता है।
ऐक्टिंग
अगर ऐक्टिंग की बात की जाए तो लगतार बढ़ती उम्र के बावजूद एकबार फिर बॉन्ड
के किरदार में डेनियल क्रेग ने साबित किया कि उन्हें इस किरदार में साइन
करके कोई गलती नहीं की है। फिल्म के ऐक्शन सीन्स में क्रेग ने खूब मेहतन की
है। इस बार फिर बिना ड्यूप्लिकेट का सहारा लिए कई बेहद खतरनाक सीन्स खुद
ही किए हैं। फिल्म के लगभग हर फ्रेम में डेनियल बेहतरीन नजर आए, लेकिन अगर
स्काईफॉल की बात करें तो यकीनन उस फिल्म के ऐक्शन सीन्स को सैम ने गजब ढंग
से फिल्माया था लेकिन इस बार उनकी वैसी महारत दिखाई नहीं देती। अन्य
कलाकारों में मोनिका बलुची, रॉल्फ फ्लेंस, बेन विशा, एंड्रयू स्कॉट ने अपने
किरदारों में अच्छा काम किया है।
डायरेक्शन
सैम मेंडेस ने बॉन्ड सीरीज की फिल्मों में बरसों से नजर आती विशेषताओं को
इस बार भी असरदार ढंग से पेश किया है। बेशक फिल्म के कुछ ऐक्शन सीक्वेंस
ज्यादा ही लंबे हो गए हैं। अगर इन सीन्स पर सैम खुद ही कैंची चलाते तो
फिल्म की स्पीड और ज्यादा तेज होती। विलेन का किरदार जाने-माने फ्री स्टाइल
रेसलर बतिस्ता ने निभाया है लेकिन उनका किरदार भी बॉन्ड की इमेज के सामने
बौना नजर आता है। अगर बॉन्ड के सामने विलन ज्यादा पावरफुल नहीं है तो यकीनन
इससे बॉन्ड का कद भी कम ही होता है।
फिल्म की शुरुआत में
मैक्सिको में फिल्माए गए करीब सात मिनट के ऐक्शन सीक्वेंस का जवाब नहीं।
रोम, ऑस्ट्रिया, मैक्सिको की खूबसूरत लोकेशन्स को डायरेक्टर ने खूबसूरती से
कैमरे में कैद करवाया है तो बॉन्ड सीरीज की अलग स्पेशिलटी जैसे बॉन्ड की
अलग स्टाइल की गाड़ियां, वॉच, महंगी कारों की लंबी रेस, माइक्रो चिप्स और
अलग-अलग स्टाइल की गन्स और बॉन्ड के आशिकाना लुक और स्टाइल को सैम ने अच्छे
ढंग से पर्दे पर उतारा है।
क्यों देंखें
अगर बॉन्ड सीरीज फिल्मों और ऐक्शन सीन्स और अपने चहेते जेम्स बॉन्ड किरदार
को एक नए लेटेस्ट और मजेदार लुक में देखना चाहते हैं तो स्पेक्टर देखने
जाएं। फिल्म की गजब आंखों को लुभाने का दम रखती लोकेशन्स और ऐक्शन सीन्स
फिल्म का प्लस प्वाइंट है।
रणवीर सिंह और दीपिका पादुकोण की आने वाली फिल्म ‘बाजीराव मस्तानी’ रिलीज
से पहले विवाद में घिरती जा रही है। उनकी इस फिल्म को लेकर मस्तानी के
वंशजों ने विरोध शुरू कर दिया है। उन्होंने सेंसर बोर्ड में अपनी आपत्ति
दर्ज कराई है। हालांकि अभी फिल्म के निर्देशन संजय लीला भंसाली इस आपत्ति
के बारे में पूरी तरह से चुप हैं। भूमिका को गलत दिखाया
रणवीर सिंह और दीपिका पादुकोण की
फिल्म ‘बाजीराव मस्तानी’ को लेकर हर किसी को बेसब्री से इंतजार है। इस
फिल्म में अभिनेत्री प्रियंका चोपड़ा भी है। हालांकि अब यह फिल्म रिलीज
से पहले ही विवाद में घिरती जा रही है। फिल्म को लेकर इंदौर में रहने वाले
मस्तानी के वंशजों ने विरोध शुरू किया है। उनका कहना है कि उन्होंने
फिल्म के प्रमोशन को देखा है। जिसमें मस्तानी की भूमिका को गलत दिखाया गया
है। फिल्म में बाजीराव पेशवा की दूसरी पत्नी मस्तानी को नर्तकी के रूप
में पेश किया गया है। जिसको लेकर उन्होंने सेंसर बोर्ड में अपनी शिकायत
दर्ज कराई है। उनके वंशजों का कहना है कि उन्होंने निर्देशक से पहले ही
फिल्म की स्िक्रप्ट मांगी थी लेकिन उन्होंने नहीं दिया था। अगर देते तो
इतनी बड़ी गलती न होती। संजय भंसाली चुप्पी साधे
इतना नहीं उन्होंने साथ ही
यह भी चेतावनी दी है कि फिल्म रिलीज के बाद अगर और भी गल्तियां दिखीं तो
वह कानूनी लड़ाई लड़ेगे। हालांकि इस पूरे मामले को लेकर संजय लीला भंसाली
पूरी तरह से चुप्पी साधे हैं। बताते चलें कि इस फिल्म रणवीर सिंह बाजीराव
पेशवा के किरदार में हैं। वहीं अभिनेत्री दीपिका पादुकोण बाजीराव की दूसरी
पत्नी मस्तानी की भूमिका में है। इसके अलावा पहली पत्नी पहली पत्नी
काशीबाई के किरदार में प्रियंका चोपड़ा दिखाई देंगी। यह फिल्म इसी साल के
अंत में यानी की 18 दिसंबर को रिलीज होगी। इस फिल्म की कहानी एक ऐतिहासिक
प्रेमकहानी पर आधारित हैं। ऐसे में संजय लीला भंसाली को पूरी उम्मीद है कि
